“That was my mother’s name too, and she also died around that
time ago!”
“My ballet teacher said everything comes in three so I think there
must be a third necklace, I wonder who has it?” said Caitlin.
Rebecca and Caitlin went back to Rebecca’s house together to
look for clues to help them find the third necklace.
Rebecca and Caitlin went through Miss Anne’s things. They found
a receipt for the necklaces from the jewellers where they were
bought and they decided to go there. They walked into the shop
and they saw the necklace in a different colour. Caitlin asked the
shop owner: “Have you seen a necklace like this but in a pink
colour?”
“No, someone bought that five years ago. The woman bought
three necklaces and said she was going to give them to three
people: her daughter, one of her students and a ballerina,” the
shop owner replied.
