“Go to your room!” George’s mum said angrily, and
George reluctantly went up to his room.
George’s Dad came home with a cuckoo clock
and he told his family that the antique seller said
that the clock was cursed. George’s Dad didn’t
believe in magic so he said “It’ll be fine, I don’t
think it’s cursed.”
Lucy noticed the clock and started to touch it.
“Don’t touch it! If this gets broken I’ll know it
was you,” her Dad said.
Suddenly George had an idea! He thought he’d
try to break the cuckoo clock and then blame it
on Lucy. But when he touched it, he woke up and
it was his 12th birthday - even though he’d already
turned 12! The clock was cursed after all!
George was back at his 12th birthday, reliving it again.
